PEAK – Faculty-Focused
The PEAK – Faculty-Focused Program* includes the development and/or facilitation of professional development events, workshops, and training opportunities for SCC faculty. The faculty planning group coordinates with other campus teams to ensure their programs and projects are explained and advertised to SCC faculty. They also manage the Professional Development Certification Program for SCC Faculty and organize the faculty in-service week events in August and January.

Who We Are
Professional development programming for faculty is developed by a team of full-time faculty from all three academic division, and a coordinator. For the 2020-21 academic year, the members are:

The inaugural Faculty Friday LIVE! took place April 30 and focused on "Student Engagement and Effective Student Learning"
Description: Faculty, let's chat and share strategies you have used to maintain and improve student engagement and effective student learning - especially this past year This is an open session to help us learn from each other. Bring your best tip and/or a question for the group to help address.
Faculty who took part in the engaging discussion utilized the Padlet tool. Here are the results!
