The Performing Arts Summer Academy
We are thrilled to offer performing arts opportunities for young artists for ages 8 to 18! These engaging summer programs are designed to help develop the skills of emerging artists. It doesn't matter if your artist is a beginner or has tons of experience, we have exciting programs to help them on their journey! The Performing Arts Summer Academy at SCC-proof that learning is FUN!
Young People's Theatre is an integral part of the programming for SCC's Performing Arts Department. We value the opportunity to bring quality arts education to the youth in our community. We know that experiences in the arts develop self-confidence, creative thinking, and collaborative teamwork.
Young People's Theatre (YPT)
For more than 30 years, YPT has built a reputation as one of the leading youth theater programs in the region. Kids ages 8-18 can learn all aspects of theater through classes and participation in live theater productions.

YPT Parent Information
Parent participation is vital to the success of YPT and is a requirement for YPT membership. Rules and Regulations are available at the audition.
Rehearsal Times:
- 6-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays
- 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays
- Additional daily rehearsals in the two weeks prior to each production.
Volunteers
Young People’s Theatre strives to educate in all facets of theatre, including technical theatre. If you would like to volunteer to help with the technical aspects of our productions, please email Artistic Director, Josiah Haan at performingarts@stchas.edu.

Performances
Ticket Information
- Individual tickets $12
- Season Tickets $60 - Season Ticket Packages that include tickets to all seven Performing Arts Department shows, Center Stage and Young People's Theatre performances, are available from July 1.
- Individual Tickets for the upcoming season will be available on August 1. Visit www.stchastickets.com for Performing Arts Department season ticket information.
If the campus must be closed due to inclement weather or some other unforeseen incident, a performance scheduled during the closure will also be canceled. Email tickets@stchas.edu to exchange your tickets or receive a refund.
