St. Charles Community College welcomes students to enroll for our summer sessions! SCC is the best option for students to advance academically, catch up, or continue learning before they return to their home college or university.

SCC classes cost a fraction of what you would pay at your four-year college or university, transfer easily, and are taught by passionate, dedicated faculty members who want to see you succeed. 

Since you are a visiting student, your process for enrollment should be as simple as possible.

Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Apply for Admissions – complete the SCC Admission Application.

Step 2: Activate your SCC username and password – these allow you to access your mySCC Portal, email, and Canvas.

Your mySCC Portal > SCC Connection is where you can register for classes, view your grades, etc. You can also find campus announcements, news, and events in the portal. Click here to learn more.

1. Your username/password is located in your Admissions 'Welcome to SCC' email.
   1. Your username is composed of the first letter of your first and last names and a six digit number assigned by the college. 
2. If you have issues signing in, please contact the IT Service Desk at 636-922-8555 or servicedesk@stchas.edu.

Step 3: Review the available course schedule and note which course(s) you wish to take.

Step 4: Register online or via email - online registration is available through your mySCC portal > SCC Connection > Students > Student Planning & Registration. 

You can also email enrollment@stchas.edu to register. In the email, please identify which course(s) and section(s) you plan to take. Please send this request from your SCC email account.

Please note: if the course you plan to take at SCC has prerequisites, you must email your unofficial transcript to enrollment@stchas.edu from your SCC email account.

Step 5: Arrange for Payment (click here). Please note, visiting students are not eligible for state or federal financial aid through SCC.

Step 6: Purchase materials needed for each course at the Campus Store.
