Mental Illness and Crime Speaker Event - April 23

St. Charles Community College is partnering with Kyle Dooley, director of CIT Community Policing Programs and NAMI St. Louis, to present “How Much Does Mental Illness Impact Crime?” The virtual event will be held via Zoom Friday, April 23 from 2:30–3:30 p.m.
Dooley will focus on Crisis Intervention Training (CIT), the state of mental health and police training as it relates to mental health. An interactive Q&A will follow the discussion and information on local resources for mental health support and help will be provided.
