Ten SCC Student-Athletes Earn NJCAA Academic Honors

Ten St. Charles Community College student-athletes have earned NJCAA All-Academic Honors for their academic achievements during the 2019-20 academic year.

Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the academic year.

“All the coaches at SCC are very proud of the work our student student-athletes put in on an off the field,” said Jeff Bolen, SCC baseball coach. “They are great role models in our athletic programs, and they show what it really means to be a Cougar!”

NJCAA All-Academic First Team honorees (4.00 GPA):

• Allison Carnell, Softball
• Kelly Mense, Women’s Soccer

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team honorees (3.80-3.99 GPA):

• Tyler Defoe, Baseball
• Maggie Dooley, Softball
• Dan Fick, Baseball
• Olivia Pilsing, Softball
• Kameryn Weicht, Women’s Soccer

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team honorees (3.60-3.79 GPA):

• Blake Bax, Baseball
• Kaitlyn Eppers, Women’s Soccer
• Nicole McCoy, Women’s Soccer
