Center Stage to hold its production of The Mousetrap on March 4-8

The St. Charles Community College Performing Arts Department and Center Stage Theatre will present their production of “The Mousetrap” on March 4-8 at the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theatre at St. Charles Community College. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville.
Performances will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, March 4-7; 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8. SCC students, faculty and staff are able to attend the play for free with proof of ID. The general public can purchase tickets for $5-8 at www.stchastickets.com. This production is appropriate for middle school age and older.
A group of quirky strangers – one of whom is a murderer – is stranded in a boarding house during a snowstorm. One of the guests is murdered, and to discover the murderer, a wandering policeman probes the background of everyone present and rattles a lot of skeletons. This is a superb intrigue from the foremost mystery writer of her time.
This performance of “The Mousetrap,” written by Agatha Christie, is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. James Bagnall will direct the production. This is the first time James Bagnall, adjunct faculty member, will direct for Center Stage. Set design and lighting design will be provided by Jeff Roop, and costume design will be provided by Jane Bagnall.
The cast includes Lauren Reynolds, Andrew Woodard, Dustin Godar, Kathy Bredenkoetter, Craig Jones, Harry Menner, Steve Garrett and Alonna Gibson.
