'Visions of Cuba' art exhibit to be held on Feb. 3-28

St. Charles Community College will host “Visions of Cuba: An Exhibition of Photography,” curated by Professor Brian D. Smith and photographer Jeff Hirsch. All images in the exhibit were shot on location in Cuba over the last three years by a select group of serious local photographers. The photos capture the unique characteristics of the Cuban people and their culture.
Participating photographers include Jerry Benner, Deborah Berryman, Kymberlie Birkenkamp, Ingrid Borecki, Robert Craft, Donna Fisher, Graham Fisher, Beth Goyer, Randy Gusdorf, Spencer Gusdorf, Bud Hirsch, Jeff Hirsch, Mike Jeffries, Phil Klasskin, Jennifer Mishra, Chuck Parr, Laura Reeves, Jen Sarti, Brian D. Smith, Barb Steps and Mary Straughter.
The exhibit will run from 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, through 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building gallery. Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
A free reception is open to the public and will take place from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12.
