Between the Covers Book Club kicks off on Jan. 29

Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to read more in 2020, or have you ever wanted to be in a book club where they have great discussions and even greater people? Join SCC’s book club to see what the buzz is all about!
The Between the Covers Book Club will hold its kick-off meeting at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the Learning Resource Center (LRC).
Each meeting will take place at the same location and time, and there will be refreshments and giveaways at each.
Books that will be discussed include:
- “With the Fire on High” by Elizabeth Acevedo – Wednesday, Feb. 26
- “Maid” by Stephanie Land – Wednesday, April 1
- “You Think It, I’ll Say It” by Curtis Sittenfeld – Wednesday, April 29
