Published: 05/10/2019
Begin your career in healthcare with a quality education at St. Charles Community College. If you are looking for a job that allows you to help others, consider SCC’s Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program. Becoming a CNA will provide you with the foundation to advance your education in a variety of healthcare professions.
Start training when you are ready and take advantage of the flexible class times SCC has to offer. Choose the college’s standard four-month program or summer-accelerated program and enter the field in as few as two months.
Prepare to learn all the necessary skills in the classroom, lab and clinical settings and sit, with confidence, for the State of Missouri certification exam.
Internship placements include skilled nursing facilities throughout St. Charles County and West St. Louis County. Graduates work in a variety of settings including hospitals, long-term care communities, home health agencies, clinics and doctors’ offices.
Begin your career with just $800. According to college officials, the cost of tuition, internship and final exam is only $800, but the value of your education is worth much more. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
Classes are at the Center for Healthy Living (CHL) located at one Academy Place, Dardenne Prairie, 63368.
