22nd annual area high school math tournament results

In partnership with MathLeague.org, St. Charles Community College hosted the 22nd annual area high school math tournament 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2.
The event brought 12 area high schools and 50 students to SCC’s campus. The tournament was open to any student in grades 9-12.
The results for the tournament are as follows:
Ninth grade finalists: Target Round
- First place: Maggie Lin of Rock Bridge High School
- Second place: Merrick Zheng of Lafayette High School
- Third place: Ahkil Elangoven of Rock Bridge High School
- Third place: Yiyun Xu of Clayton High School
