Center Stage Theatre to present 'It Shoulda Been You' July 24-29
Published: 06/14/2018
St. Charles Community College’s Center Stage Theatre will present It Shoulda Been You July 24-29 in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the SCC campus.
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, July 24-28 and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29. Tickets are free to SCC students with ID, $8 for general admission, $6 for seniors, veterans and students. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
It Shoulda Been You puts a modern spin on the traditional wedding comedy, proving that when it comes to wedding day insanity, it’s all relative. It’s a culture clash for the ages when two families from wildly different backgrounds come together to celebrate a wedding. As if the union wasn’t complicated enough, the bride’s ex-boyfriend arrives, bringing the wedding to a screeching halt and throwing both families into hysterical chaos. It's up to the sister of the bride to turn a tangled mess into happily ever after in this musical comedy.
The cast includes Jen Brown of St. Louis; Kat Leffler, Anthony Jones and Mallory Echelmeyer of St. Peters; Scott Theis, Allison Arana, Tricia Wallace, Jacob Baxley, Emily Turner, Nick Elieff and Jordan Hendrix of St. Charles; Nick Lane and Gage Whitehurst of Wentzville; Justin Spurgeon of O’Fallon and Joshua Mundschenk of Villa Ridge.
The Thursday, July 26, evening performance of It Shoulda Been You will be signed for the hearing impaired by student sign language interpreters from Florissant Valley Community College.
