SCC to Celebrate Harry Potter, Pokemon and more at Geek Week April 2-5

St. Charles Community College will host a series of events for Geek Week April 2-5. All events are free and open to the public.
Monday, April 2
Panel: Women in Science, followed by a free showing of the film Ghostbusters (2016)
6:30 p.m. | SSB auditorium
Women SCC faculty members answer questions and share their experiences as women in the science field, both as students and professionals.
Tuesday, April 3
Geek Trivia
11:30 a.m. | Scooter’s Place
Grab your friends, or come alone and join us for an afternoon full of wizards, comics, video games and superhero trivia. Come test your geek knowledge, have fun and win prizes in the process!
Wednesday, April 4
Hogwarts Day
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | College Center rotunda
Participate in a make-your-own mascot activity, play a game of Table Quidditch, try some Polyjuice Potion Punch and Butter Beer and hang out with all of the other wizards and muggles on campus!
Disney Villains … Poir Unfortunate Souls
1 p.m. | SSB auditorium
Join the discussion and Lisa Randoll, political science instructor, investigates how each Disney villain related to our own humanity.

Pokemon Party: Gotta Catch Em’ All!
11:30 a.m. | College Center rotunda
Come build-your-own Pokemon character and partake in all things Pokemon. Free snacks, activities and fun!
