MFA Invitational to feature artworks by local graduate students at SCC March 5-April 6

St. Charles Community College will display the artwork of some of the region’s finest visual artists currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree March 5-April 6 in the MFA Invitational. Students from Fontbonne University, Washington University in St. Louis, Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville and the University of Missouri–Columbia will display artwork in a variety of media and stylistic approaches including painting, sculpture, drawing, mixed media and ceramics.
Sam Bazdresch, Jenn Brown, Katie Donovan, Kyle Hendrix, Jessica Lynn Hunt, JinHee Kim, Laura Lebeda, Madeleine Lemieux, Andrew Mcilvaine, Christina McNealy, Joshua Osburg, Hugo Patao, Kodi Thompson, Dan Wine and Guigen Zha will be featured in the gallery of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building.
An opening reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
The gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is located in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building. Parking for patrons is free in the campus Blue and Yellow lots.
