SCC to host Comedy Night Feb. 10

Comedians K-Von and Corey Rodrigues will headline St. Charles Community College’s Comedy Night on Saturday, Feb. 10. The show begins at 7 p.m. in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus in Cottleville.
Touring year-round as a standup comic is K-Von’s true passion. He is a headlining comedian on the rise. The star of MTV’s hit show “Disaster Date,” he also received rave reviews on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Showtime, CNN’s “HLN,” Good Morning America, BBC and NPR, to name a few.
Corey Rodrigues led his own show at Boston’s well-known Beantown Comedy Vault where he started Wicked Wednesdays. In 2008, he won the “Catch a New Rising Star” comedy competition. In 2009, he was a semi-finalist in the New York Comedy Competition. In 2010 and 2011, Corey was a semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the winner of the Funniest Comic in the New England contest in 2012.
