SCC Foundation seeking Distinguished Alumni nominations
Published: 01/17/2018
The SCC Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2018 SCC Distinguished Alumni Award. The annual award is open to former St. Charles Community College students who have become leaders in their professions and positively impact their community. To be considered, nominations are due Wednesday, Feb. 28.
Each year, thousands of students begin or continue their professional journey at St. Charles Community College. Potential candidates for the Distinguished Alumni Award must have attended SCC at some point in their educational journey (degree preferred, but not required) and be “esteemed among peers” as leaders in their field, with a demonstrated commitment to community. An individual may be nominated more than once.
“This award is a tremendous honor and calls attention to the great things our community college alumni are now doing,” said Peggy Schnardthorst, development and foundation relations manager at SCC.
To nominate a deserving alum, return this form to the SCC Foundation:
- Mail: 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, College Center 202, Cottleville, MO 63376.
- Electronically: Email to Peggy Schnardthorst at pschnardthorst@stchas.edu.
The Distinguished Alumni Award recipient will be notified by April 16 and presented with the award at the annual SCC commencement ceremony in May.
For more information, visit the SCC website or contact Schnardthorst at 636-922-8278 or pschnardthorst@stchas.edu.
