YPT to hold open auditions for 'You Ain't Nothin' but a Werewolf' Aug. 19

Young People’s Theatre will hold open auditions for You Ain’t Nothin’ but a Werewolf at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the St. Charles Community College campus. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
Auditions are open for youths ages 8 to 18 and will consist of a song that will be taught, a short dance combination and a brief reading from the script. Students auditioning should wear comfortable clothes and shoes (no flip flops) and must be accompanied by an adult. To be cast, students must either have had Introductory Theatre Workshop I or concurrently enroll in that class in addition to being in the production.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 14; and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, and Sunday, Oct. 15. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at stchastickets.com or by calling 636-922-8233.
