Published: 11/09/2017
St. Charles Community College is hosting a panel of regional experts to discuss the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the auditorium of the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building located on SCC’s campus in Cottleville. The event is free and open to the public.

Regional experts speaking on the panel include: Andrew Bloomberg, an attorney at Hacking Law Practice, LLC, who works on immigration law matters including DACA; Cassandra Hagan, SCC financial aid manager; Dawn Huffman, chair of the English Language Institute at SCC; Felipe Martinez, immigrant student advisor with the Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis; and Amanda Tello, program coordinator at Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates (MIRA). The panel will be moderated by Paul Roesler, SCC professor of political science.
