Nineties-themed Trivia Night on Feb. 24 to benefit student scholarships at SCC

Published: 01/18/2017

Grab your Beanie Baby collection and Tamagotchi because this year’s trivia theme is the ‘90s! The St. Charles Community College Employee Sponsored Program will host its annual Trivia Night to raise funds for SCC scholarships, campus enhancements and employee support initiatives. Doors open at 6 p.m., and trivia starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24.

The event will be held in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building auditorium on the St. Charles Community College campus in Cottleville.

Tickets cost $25 per person or $200 per table of eight. Beer, wine, soda and water are included, and teams are welcome to bring snacks. There will be a prize for best decorated table, and costumes are encouraged.

“Trivia Night is an evening of friendly competition, and it supports a great cause,” said Peggy Schnardthorst, SCC development and foundation relations manager. “We are thankful for those who support the college in this way and for the dedicated group of employees who plan this event each year because they believe in spreading compassion and goodwill to our students, co-workers and community.”

Last year’s event raised nearly $6,000 for the Employee Sponsored Program. Help SCC make this year a huge success by getting a team together and unleashing your inner ‘90s geek!
