Center Stage Theatre to present ‘The Addams Family’ July 26-31

St. Charles Community College’s Center Stage Theatre will present The Addams Family July 26-31, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the SCC campus. 

The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, July 26-30 and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31. Tickets are free to SCC students with ID, or $8 general admission and $6 seniors, veterans and students. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.

An interpreter for the deaf or hard hearing will be provided at the 7:30 p.m. showing on Saturday, July 30.

The weird and wonderful family created by New Yorker cartoonist Charles Addams comes to life in this zany musical comedy. All the memorable “creepy and kooky” characters are there: Morticia, Gomez, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday and Pugsley, accompanied on stage by some of their deceased ancestors. In this story, Morticia and Gomez Addams want to continue living amongst death, pain and suffering as they always have. But there is a change brewing. 

The cast includes Wes Jenkins, Jenevieve Lafferty, Jenifer Jenkins, Tricia Wallace, Esther Smith and Ryan Elizondo of St. Charles; Bill Blanke, Josiah Haan, Jack Holloway, Kelsey Bean and Danny Junkel of O’Fallon; Margaret O’Dea, Matthew Kiewiet, Travis McIntyre, Olivia Flores and Becky Loughridge of St. Peters; John W. Lemon and Alex Dyer of Lake St. Louis; Riley Grady and Gage Whitehurst of Wentzville; Julie Garvey of Cottleville; Nicole Peach of St. Louis; Ben Laves of Wildwood and Christian Lewis of Paynesville.
