Center Stage Theatre to hold open auditions for ‘The Addams Family’ May 17-19

Center Stage Theatre will hold open vocal and acting auditions for The Addams Family at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, May 17-18, and open dance auditions at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 19. Auditions will be held in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the St. Charles Community College campus. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 19.
There are open roles for four women, five men, one boy age 13-15 and a chorus. The audition will consist of reading from the script, which is on reserve at the SCC library. Auditioners should bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of a traditional show tune in addition to reading from the script. Monologues are encouraged but not required.
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, July 26-30 and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31. Tickets are free to SCC students with ID, or $8 general admission and $6 seniors, veterans and students. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
