Registration now open for 19th annual High School Math Tournament

St. Charles Community College will host the 19^th annual High School Math Tournament in cooperation with mathleague.org. The event starts at 8 a.m. March 5, 2016, and will take place in the Administration and Student Center buildings on the SCC campus in Cottleville.

The tournament is open to any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in participating in an area mathematics competition. There is a registration fee of $1 per student. There will be free refreshments and giveaways during registration, while supplies last. 

“The Transfer Mathematics department looks forward to this event each year. We enjoy seeing students showcase their mathematical abilities and compete among peers,” said Joe Howe, mathematics professor at SCC. 

Participants may register individually or as a group.
