Center Stage Theatre to hold open auditions for ‘Lend Me a Tenor’ Jan. 19-20

Center Stage Theatre will hold open auditions for Lend Me a Tenor at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, Jan. 19-20, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the St. Charles Community College campus. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21.
There are open roles for four women and four men. Three of the men’s roles require singing. The audition will consist of reading from the script, which is on reserve at the SCC library. Monologues are encouraged but not required. Men auditioning for the three singing roles will be asked to sing a short vocal selection a capella.
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, March 2-5; 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6. Tickets are free to SCC students with ID, or $8 general admission and $6 seniors, veterans and students. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
