YPT to hold open auditions for 'The Nifty Fifties' Oct. 3
Published: 09/15/2015
In collaboration with SSB Productions, the production of The Nifty Fifties will have a smaller cast and shorter time commitment than main stage productions.
It’s easy to see why the ‘50s were so nifty in this fun, fast-paced show! There are roles for ages 10 and up, with everything from students to beatniks and great songs like “Bop-A-Lu-Bop Dance Party,” “Teen Queen,” “It’s Tough to be a Teenager in Love,” the hilarious “It was the Blob” and, of course, the toe-tapping title tune!
Auditioning for the Nifty Fifties is free; if cast in the production there will be a $125 fee.
Performances will be held at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. Tickets are available now at stchastickets.com.
