Center Stage Theatre to present 'Rhinoceros' April 22-26
Published: 04/13/2015
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, April 22-23; 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, April 24-25; and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26. Rhinoceros tells the hilarious and absurd tale of the inhabitants of a small town slowly turning into rhinoceroses. In this story by Eugene Ionesco, the rhinoceros reflects the power, attractiveness and chaos of the collective in its most destructive and animalistic form, as well as the strength of individuality and the resilience of the human spirit.
The cast includes Chrissie Watkins of Florissant, Christopher Null and Ben Harman of O’Fallon, Ashley Wagner, Andrew Carter, Alex Baumer and Karl Beetz of St. Charles, Lashun Coleman-Hale and Damarys Agudelo of Wentzville and Mike McPartland of St. Peters.
