Center Stage Theatre to present 'The Heiress' March 4-8

The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, March 4-5; 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, March 6-7; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8. Tickets are free to SCC students with ID, or $8 general admission and $6 seniors, veterans and students. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
Set in 1849, The Heiress is based on the classic Henry James novel Washington Square and became an Academy Award-winning film in 1949 starring Olivia de Havilland and Montgomery Clift. In 2012, a revival of The Heiress opened on Broadway starring the acclaimed actress Jessica Chastain. This dramatic and suspenseful play features one of the greatest female roles ever written for the stage.
The cast includes Elisa Leighton of Hazelwood, John Lemon of Lake St. Louis, Judy Yordon of Florissant, Marie Malach, Christopher Null and Stephanie Rivera of O’Fallon, Kathy Bredenkoetter and Sean Michael of St. Charles and Hailie Tetzlaff of Foristell.
