YPT to hold open auditions for 'Hairy Tale Rock' Jan. 9

Young People’s Theatre will hold open auditions for Hairy Tale Rock at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9.

Auditions are open to ages 6 and up and will consist of basic movement, cold reading and singing, all of which will be taught. Children auditioning should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and that they are accompanied by an adult.

Rehearsals will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturdays. There is a production fee of $125 if cast. 

Performances will be at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at stchastickets.com or by calling 636-922-8233.
