Center Stage Theatre of St. Charles Community College presents "A Streetcar Named Desire"

“A Streetcar Named Desire” is a play that chronicles the last stages of Blanche DuBois’ mental break as she steps away from past turmoil and scandal of disillusioned love affairs and attempts to start new by moving in with her sister, Stella, and her average working class husband, Stanley. Immediately, Blanche finds herself further thrust into a world of turmoil.
Directed by Lonna Wilke, the play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, Oct. 1-2; 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 3-4; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5.
Cast members include: Cassandra Chandler as Eunice Hubbell, Bethsaida Bucaram as Eunice’s friend/nurse, Mike McPartland as Stanley Kowlaski, Hailie Tetzlaff as Stella Kowlaski, Ryan Starke as Steve Hubbell, Christopher Null as Harold Mitchell, Mikayla Sherfy as Blanche DuBois, Hayden Hays as Pablo Gonzales, Josh Mundschenk as a young collector, Karl Beetz as the doctor and Sarah Miller as street ensemble.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and non-SCC students and free for SCC students with ID. Tickets will be offered at a special reduced price of $5 for everyone on Budget Wednesdays.
