Galbierz selected for Beyond the Best Award

The Beyond the Best Award recognizes executives, employees and board members in St. Charles, St. Louis and surrounding areas.
“Todd is a strong asset to the college and his desire to go above and beyond in all aspects of his work goes far in demonstrating the good stewardship of the college to the community,” said SCC President Ron Chesbrough, Ph.D.. “He is a wonderful colleague and senior leader at SCC, and he couldn’t be more deserving of the Beyond the Best Award.”
Day-to-day, Galbierz works with college experts in their fields of accounting, purchasing, public safety, facilities and construction, bookstore and food services. His role is to guide, advise, collaborate and make decisions with them on a myriad of topics related to these support services. He plays a significant role in keeping people, projects and financial matters moving forward efficiently and effectively.
Galbierz said he enjoys making a difference in student’s lives and the community. “SCC is a very special place to be,” he said. “Everyone works with a common purpose – student success. We know the work we do individually adds to the collective impact we have on our students.”
Galbierz was recognized in 2005 among St. Charles Business Magazine’s “Forty Professionals Under Forty” and was a member of the Missouri Chamber’s “Leadership Missouri” class of 2005. Galbierz has a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership from Washington University. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is also an adjunct instructor of accounting at the college. Galbierz lives with his wife and two sons in O’Fallon.
St. Charles Community College is a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields.
