SCC to present winter concert series Dec. 9-12

Monday, Dec. 9 – SCC Concert Band, directed by Dave Dickey

Tuesday, Dec. 10 – SCC Singers, directed by Becky Thorn, and SCC Chamber Choir, directed by Gene Ditch, performing concert, chamber and seasonal favorites

Wednesday, Dec. 11 – SCC Jazz Band, directed by Dave Dickey

Thursday, Dec. 12 – SCC Orchestra, directed by Mary Sweetin, performing the music of Beethoven, Vaughan Williams and a new work by SCC student Aaron Hill

 “This is an excellent opportunity to hear music performed live, by students and community members involved in the SCC music program,” said Gene Ditch, SCC music professor.

All performances are free and open to the public and will be held in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building.
