SCC to Offer More Friday Night Classes Just for Kids and Teens This Fall

“Friday Night Kids and Teens Zone” will feature a whole new set of classes focused on arts and crafts, including creating and designing necklaces, tote bags, T-shirts, scarves and more. Cost ranges from $35 to $49.
“Kids can learn something new in these classes while having fun,” Fitzwilliam said. “And it gives parents a chance to enjoy a night out.”
The following classes will be offered on Friday nights:
- Watercolor Painting and Design (ages 10-15): Two sessions from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Fridays, Sept. 14 and 21, $49
- Funky Wire Necklaces (ages 10-16): 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, $39
- Designer Girls Tote Bags (ages 10-16): 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, $39
- Creepy Crawly Desserts! (ages 7-12), 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, $39
- Bath and Body Scrubs (ages 10-16): One-night session offered at 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, or Friday, Dec. 7 ($39)
- Totally Awesome Tee’s (ages 10-16): 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, $39
- Eco Elves (ages 5-8): 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, $35
- Knifty Knitter Mania (ages 9 and up): 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, $49
The Friday Night Kids Zone Series, featuring three classes: Funky Wire Necklaces, Designer Girls Tote Bags and Totally Awesome Tee’s, is also available for just $99 total.
