SCC WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH EVENT SCHEDULE:
Lunch and Learn: "Iron Jawed Angels"

Bring your lunch and join us for a free showing of “Iron Jawed Angels” (2004). This film traces the events leading up to the passing of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. This film is unrated. For more information, contact Grace Moser at gmoser@stchas.edu or 636-922-8310.
“We End Violence” Presentation by ALIVE

Speaking Out: The Stacey Lannert Story

In 2009, St. Louis native Stacey Lannert was released from prison where she served 18 years for fatally shooting the man who raped her from ages 8-18. That man was her father. She tells her story and speaks about overcoming childhood sexual abuse. A book signing will follow the lecture.
CHARIS Concert

CHARIS, The St. Louis Women’s Chorus, is a diverse group of women united in their mission to perform music that celebrates and encourages women and the LGBT community. Comprised of 25-40 women varying in age from 16 to 66, CHARIS represents a variety of ethnicities, sexual orientations, economic situations and abilities and disabilities.
