New Scholarships Available for SCC Students in Selected Health Care and Information Technology Fields

Students taking classes in SCC’s health occupations programs may apply for the scholarships. Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) classes are registering now. A spring 2013 schedule of other health occupations programs will be available online Oct. 31, and will include Medication Technician, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician and IV Therapy.
Students interested in enrolling in select information technology programs may also apply for the scholarships. Registration for the spring 2013 semester opens to current students on Oct. 22; registration opens to everyone on Oct. 29.
Scholarships are available to those who meet grant eligibility requirements. For information or to apply for a scholarship, email Tammie De Los Santos, SCC manager of workforce development initiatives, at tdelossantos@stchas.edu or call 636-922-8474.
