Local Youths to Perform a School Edition of "Les Miserables" March 18-20 and 25-27 at SCC

The show will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, March 18-19 and 25-26, and at 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, March 19-20 and 26-27. Tickets are $8 for all ages. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.

Les Misérables is a historical drama full of excitement and beautiful music. Les Misérables School Edition is suitable for ages 8 and up and paints a vivid picture of early 19th century France as it tells the story of one man's determination to help others, and how an act of forgiveness changes the course of his life forever. There will be a free 30-minute educational session with cast members prior to each show about French culture and customs, why they were fighting and what impact this had on democracy.

Cast members from St. Peters include David Amrhein, Cadence Bippen, Carlin Bippen, Margaret Borgmeyer, Madelyn Brooks, Jennifer Brown, Jenni Fischer, Thomas Fischer, Jessica Kahn, Leah Koclanes, Connor Larabee, Sabrina Nelson, Gillian Pendel, Mitchell Stille and Sarah York.

Cast members from St. Charles include Zac Cary, Jordan Dunahue, Annie Gardner, Kelly Gleeson, Sean Gundersen, Tate Gundersen, Danielle Hughes, Anna Johnston, Aurielle Macchi, Amelia Martin, Ellen Modglin, Laura Modglin, Claire Sanford, Emily Turner and Cidney Woodson. 

Members of the cast from O’Fallon include Alia Aaron, Joelle Aaron, Jake Condellire, Jacob Feldt, Luke Gottreu, Grayson Jostes, Danny Kellett, Becca Krauss, Annie Marion, Ali Pinkerton, Katie Scheffer, Vycktoria Vaughan and Brendan Woods.

Cast members from Dardenne Prairie include Troyer Coultas, Rachel Downing, James Maasen Sydney Thomas, Claire Troxell, Emma Troxell and Patricia Villegas. 

Additional cast members include Evan Fornachon of Maryland Heights; Ben Stanley of Cottleville; Jimmy Coogan, Joey Coogan, Matthew Doll and Allison Engelage of Lake St. Louis; and Mike Burrell and Sarah Engelskirchen of Wentzville.

The Young People’s Theatre is a performing arts program by kids and their families for kids and their families produced by the SCC Corporate and Community Development Department.
