Arts and Crafts Classes at SCC Now Enrolling for January 2012 Classes

“All of our arts and crafts classes are taught by experienced artists who are experts at helping students discover the artist inside of them,” said Amy Fitzwilliam, SCC continuing education program assistant. “Our instructors will help you learn a new hobby or build on your experiences to take your art to a whole new level.”
Learn how to create art with colored pencils, woodcarving, knitting, oil painting or calligraphy with the following classes:
- Knit Mania! 6-8 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 12-Feb. 16, $89
- Introduction to Oil Painting, 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 12-Feb. 23, $149
- Calligraphy, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 23-March 12, $75
- Intermediate Wood Carving, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 24-Feb. 14, $59
- Drawing With Colored Pencil, 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 25-Feb. 29, $129
- Open Artists Studio, 6-9 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 30-March 5, $36
