The legend of “The Nutcracker” lives on in this captivating play. At a gala Christmas Eve party, Clara’s godfather presents her with an amazing nutcracker in the form of a wooden soldier. Too excited to sleep, she suddenly finds the nutcracker brought to life – a handsome prince who is under the wicked enchantment of the Mouse King. Clara joins him in a series of exciting adventures as he seeks to regain his throne. Fantasy and reality mingle to recreate a classic and wonderful holiday production.
“The Nutcracker” will be performed in the theater of the Fine Arts Building at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec. 17-18, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 18-19.
